Creating Beautiful Moments Is What I Do Best
I’ve always believed that the details matter.
A beautiful arrangement matters. The right flower in the right place matters. The way a gift is presented matters. But what matters most to me is how people feel when they experience it.
That is really the heart of what I have built through Sending You Aloha.
As the owner of Sending You Aloha, I’ve had the opportunity to create designs, curate gifts, work with couples and businesses, coordinate deliveries, manage the details of special occasions, and—most importantly—listen to what people are trying to say through the experience they are creating.
Because that’s what flowers and events really are.
They are a way of saying:
I love you
Congratulations
Thank you
We’re celebrating you
You matter
And I love being the person who helps bring that message to life.
I’m a Designer, but I’m Also a Problem Solver
One thing I’ve learned from owning my own business is that the pretty part is only half the job.
The other half is everything happening behind the scenes.
It’s figuring out how to make an idea work. It’s finding the right materials. It’s working within a budget. It’s coordinating timing and deliveries. It’s adjusting when something isn't available. It’s figuring out what to do when the unexpected happens—and making sure the client never has to carry that stress.
Whether I'm designing flowers for a wedding, creating something for a corporate client, preparing a special delivery, or helping coordinate an event, I want the end result to feel intentional.
I want someone to look at it and think:
“Someone really thought about this.”
Why Freelance Work Feels Like the Right Next Step
After building Sending You Aloha, I know that I have a lot to offer beyond my own business. I’m Not Just Creating Flowers. I’m Creating Experiences.
That's probably the simplest way I can describe what I do.
Flowers are my medium.
Events are my canvas.
But people are the reason.
After years of building Sending You Aloha, I know that my greatest strength isn't just knowing how to put flowers together.
It's knowing how to take an idea, understand the feeling behind it, and help turn it into something real.
Something beautiful.
Something organized.
Something meaningful.
And hopefully, something people remember.
That is what I bring to every project—and that is what I’m excited to bring to my next one.
